PrintWrite2 Job Types

Create an Audio or Data CD; a Video or Data DVD; or one of many other job types, including disc image creation, batch copying, print-only jobs, and disc erasing. Working side-by-side with SureThing Label Designer software, users can easily create custom artwork for high-resolution, full-color disc labeling.

Networking Capabilities

Now owners of a Microboards disc publisher can operate or share the unit remotely over a network. PrintWrite2 boasts the industry’s fastest Remote Scan to locate a publisher on your network. The selected publisher will receive and process jobs in the order they are submitted, making it easy for users to locate their fi nished product in the publisher’s output bin. PrintWrite2 allows an unlimited number of clients per location, so there’s no need to purchase blocks of licenses. It also features the ability to connect to multiple publishers on a network and run multiple jobs concurrently. Full administrative capabilities are given for allowing and blocking remote clients to the publisher. Microboards PrintWrite Monitor allows for job status messaging to come through to the client’s desktop without PrintWrite2 being open.

What is your DVD-Video worth?  Microboards VideoWrite will help you protect it.  VideoWrite is a new, easy-to-use, highly secure method for applying copy protection to DVD Videos produced on Microboards disc publishers. 

How it works:

VideoWrite does not rely on ‘tricky’ protection scenarios like adding bad sectors and pointers or requiring a software key on the PC.  Instead, VideoWrite wraps the video on the DVD in a protective file that doesn’t interfere with playback but prevents common  ripping software programs from accessing the video.

VideoWrite is easy to use with Microboards publishers running PrintWrite version 1.30 or higher (PC).  VideoWrite automatically determines whether the .ISO file being recorded is a valid video format and enables the copy protection option inside PrintWrite.

When you burn an ISO image file with PrintWrite, simply check the box that says “Do you want to use VideoWrite?”  PrintWrite will show you the details of the protection before it is applied.  When you are ready to apply the protection, push the “Start Protection” button. And when you are ready to burn and print discs, push the same “Start” button that you would normally use to start a job in PrintWrite.

VideoWrite is available on a per-disc basis using a USB key pre-loaded with licenses.  Licenses are available from Microboards’ channel of value-added resellers and integrators. PrintWrite 1.30 automatically detects the presence of VideoWrite USB licenses. PrintWrite 1.30 is available free to qualified current users of Microboards publishers including the MX-2, MX-1, CX-1, and GX-2 disc publishers.

Video houses, government agencies, professional and amateur videographers—anyone selling their DVDs or protecting sensitive content will greatly benefit from CopyLock. CopyLock features technology that’s easy to use and is offered as an option for Microboards’ current lineup of premium CopyWriter Pro towers—DVD, LightScribe and Blu-ray (for DVD-Video protection only).

It takes just six simple steps for creating a protected master and unlimited protected copies.

1. Load the supplied Microboards CopyLock software onto a suitable PC.

2. Plug in the CopyLock USB dongle with activated licenses into your PC’s USB port.

3. Use the Microboards CopyLock suite of software to create a protected .iso file from your DVD video disc or Video TS folder.

4. Transfer the new copy protected .iso file from the PC onto an enabled duplicator via USB/Copy Connect or LAN/Network connectivity

5. Load blank DVD recordable discs into the duplicator’s writer drives, then use the duplicator’s menu keys to locate the transferred file on the duplicator’s internal hard drive

6. Initiate the copy process. The finished copied discs will have the copy protection embedded.

One license per master is all that is required to embed your project/title with Microboards CopyLock protection. The CopyLock software allows the user to create an unlimited number of copies from each licensed master video image for no additional fees, making the overall cost per copy protected disc as low as just pennies.
